Games:

Play with dice – using two 1-6 dice, roll one number, count the dots and record and then repeat with the second. Put the two numbers into a number sentence I.e. 4 + 2 =, and then count the dots on the dice to add correctly. Extend by using higher value dice and/or encouraging a visual recognition of the dice dots as they read and record.
