Winston Came to See Us!

As part of Book Week. reception were very lucky to have an interactive performance from storyteller Winston Nzinga. We sang, moved and played instruments along to the music and stories from around the world.

Clay Model Dinosaurs

Today’s craft day was all about clay! As soon as the children arrived they were able to start using their clay to model their favourite dinosaur, and from Spinosaurus’ to the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex, they were so creative with their ideas! Here’s a few snapshots from the morning:

Junk Modelling Day!

The children spent the week working on brilliant designs in preparation for our dinosaur junk modelling day, which was a roaring success! The models look amazing and I was really impressed with the manner in which the children dealt with such a momentous task. The children did a wonderful job in selecting the perfect 3D shape for each part of their dinosaurs.  Well done Reception J!
