Getting to Grips With Nature

Here is our fantastic Nature Club on a creepy crawly Autumn bug hunt. We visited the amazing mini-beast hotel that reception children built last year on Science Day, and were delighted with the number of bugs-in-residence!

We found the usual flies, slugs and snails as well as centipedes, millipedes, earwigs and wood lice. Ever professional, the children marked off their finds together in teams and contributed to an excellent discussion about habitats when we returned to class.

Great job Nature Clubbers!
